Sauna submarine in Tananger

Do you need a refreshing break from everyday life? Visit us in Tananger for a refreshing experience in our submarine.

Nothing beats the combination of a warm wood-fired sauna and a refreshing bath that makes you feel alive and awake? Our beautiful sauna boat in Tananger harbour is open all year round!

Useful to know when hiring the sauna boat:
- The sauna boat must be booked in advance
- Rent includes staffing
- Age limit for rental is 18 years
- Changing facilities in separate changing rooms on the pier
- Swim ladder right outside
- Bring your own towel, preferably two: one to sit on and one to dry off with (This can also be hired for a small supplement at the hotel. Please let us know in your booking if you would like this).
- Remember your own drinking water
- Bringing alcohol is not allowed, but it is possible to buy the desired drink during the restaurant's opening hours and take it to the sauna (open every day throughout the summer from 13:00 to 21:00).
- Sauna boat moored to the jetty during the rental period
- Bathing is at your own risk
- It is not permitted to dive/jump from the roof of the sauna boat for safety reasons. Violation of the regulations may result in liability for damages and termination of the rental agreement.
- Feel free to combine your sauna experience with a meal in our restaurant, either before or after your visit (remember to check opening hours).
- Meet at the sauna boat on the jetty 5 minutes before your booked time
- On the boat, you can take off any clothes you have on over your swimwear, but there are no private changing rooms on board. Please do not bring any belongings other than clothes and what you think is okay to leave in a bag with us.

Private event?

It is also possible to hire the sauna boat for private events such as team building, afterwork and stag parties. There is room for 12-15 people at the same time in our sauna boat. Feel free to combine the event with kayak and SUP hire so that the group can also be larger. You can also take advantage of our many food offers, both before or after your visit. Kayak and SUP hire

Fancy a little trip around Tananger harbour? We also rent out kayaks and SUPs. This is done at our reception on drop-in from 08:00 to 22:00. Selection of kayaks: one double kayak and two regular kayaks with room for one person in each. Price per hire is 200,- per hour; life jacket and oars are included. SUP: Here we have three SUPs with oars for hire.
